ME - You Can Do It

Wednesday, November 30, 2016

Ok I'm obsessed with these little ninja's by Mama Elephant. Oh my goodness!! I love that they're easy to color and there are six different images of them that are so fun and versatile. So let's get started with my card...oh and excuse all the photo's I'm about to share. =)

For my background I colored it with blueprint sketch, shaded lilac, and broken china. I was going to use this panel for a different card but changed my mind actually I was going to throw it away because I didn't think the colors were blended nicely. Anyway I knew I wanted to use the cherry blossoms from Lunar Extras and I had a scene in mind but end up with this instead. My little ninja on the right is thinking to himself how is he going to get down from this tree. So in motion he steps lightly on the branches and sneaks down quickly and quietly because that's how ninja's do it! I colored all my stamps with copic markers. For added touch I framed the scene with My Favorite Things scallop frame die. I also added my favorite clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

Here are close up of the card. I hope you like it. I have a few more ideas to make into a card so be sure to come back soon! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

MFT - I love you this much

Saturday, November 26, 2016

Hello again! I have this shaker card for you today.

I colored my card panel with distress inks. I cut another panel using MFT dienamics snow drift cover up. Since the cover up is smaller than the panel I used Lawn Fawn rectangle frame and attached it on top of the cover up. I stamped then colored the hedgehogs with copic markers. I heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder. For my shaker, I used We R Memory Keepers fuse tool to make a pocket to hold the shaker components. All the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

PPP - There's snow one like you

Tuesday, November 15, 2016
Hi everyone! I created another card using Pretty Pink Posh products. I used the Happy Snowman set and colored them using copic markers then cut using my Scan n Cut.

I die cut the upper half of the panel using My Favorite Things peek-a-boo circle windows. I colored the negative cut with distress inks: picked raspberry and broken china. I made a snowman couple and used the sentiment from the Winter Wonderland stamp set which was perfect for this card. Of course it's not Pretty Pink Posh without sequins so I added the sparkling clear sequins and also silver glitter scallop frame.

That is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

PPP - Happy Winter

Wednesday, November 9, 2016
Hello! I made this shaker card using Pretty Pink Posh products from the October release. I adore the little penguin from the Winter Wonderland stamp set so I made another scene with the kids from Christmas Friends.
I distress my card panel lightly with peacock feathers and picked raspberry. Then I cut the panel using the stitched stars to create the shaker. I used the iridescent star sequins and 3mm sparkling clear sequins. I heat embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder. The stamps were colored with copic markers and adhered to the card panel with some foam tape for dimension.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

The Ton - Have a Lovely Day

Saturday, November 5, 2016
Hello there! I wanted to share this card I made for Day 5 of the Daily Marker 30 Day challenge hosted by the wonderful and talented Kathy Racoosin. I used the beautiful cherry blossom from The Ton stamps.
I heat embossed the blossoms on my card panel then colored it with Zig clean color brush. I chose this medium because I hardly use it and I need to practice using it. I outlined the image with copic markers: BG000 and BG11.

I also heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and it was my first time using the rose gold embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp. It's so pretty! For embellishment I added Pretty Pink Posh rose gold sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
