Hello friends! I'm back with a fun Spring theme box card. I just love using these amazing dies from My Favorite Things, it's very addicting! Let's get started.
To begin I die cut the base of the box using thick white cardstock. I want to make sure the base is sturdy and can withstand the folding and unfolding of the box card. For the pattern paper I used MFT petite plaid paper pack. I stamped the sentiment with MFT purple rain before adhering it to the base. The grass shelves was cut from green room cardstock. I also like to ink the grass edges with lucky clover to give it more dimension.
Next for the sky background I ink blended wilted violet, spun sugar, and speckled egg. I splattered some water and diluted blueprint sketch for texture.
I stamped a lot of the images from the Spring Gnomes stamp set with milk chocolate ink. I used copic markers to color them and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added some highlights using a white gel pen.
I staggered the gnomes so you can see them from each angle. Then fill in the space with the smaller elements. This set has lots of accessories to build a scene with such as eggs, carrots and various florals.
