Have a blast

Hello! Today I'm sharing a space scene slimline card using Blastoff Buddies from My Favorite Things and the Twinkle slimline die from Crafty Meraki.

The background was quite simple to create. If you don't like ink blending you can achieve this look with any color cardstock using a couple products. First I cut the navy cardstock a little bit bigger than the slimline die. Then I used the mini cloud stencil with white pigment ink. From there I used the starry die to cut the panel and darkened the edges with chipped sapphire. I added some metallic white and gold watercolor paint to add droplets onto the panel for interest.

I stamped all the images from Blastoff Buddies stamp set with milk chocolate ink, colored them with copic markers and cut them out using their coordinating dies.

 

I cut some cloud borders to adhere on the bottom of the card panel. I arrange the images and attached them with double sided foam tape. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the set onto thick white cardstock, trim it down, and centered it on the top panel of the card.
