Easter Chicks

Hello friends! Spring is finally here!! Today I would like to share an Easter card using the adorable chicks from Sunny Studios. 

I started by ink blending my sky background onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I used MFT ray of light stencil and used kitsch flamingo and blueprint sketch distress oxide inks. Next I cut several grass to layer onto my inked background. I used MFT grassy hills die cut from their sour apple cardstock. I like to ink the edges with lucky clover distress oxide ink to create more depth. 

I stamped the images from Chick Baby stamp set using milk chocolate ink. I colored them with copic markers and used their coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the sentiment I used the Happy Easter banner from the Chubby Bunny stamp set. I arranged all the images and adhered them onto the panel with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. As a final touch I added Nuvo crystal drops onto the center of the flowers and some white highlights onto the chicks eyes and cheeks. I love these cute baby chickies.
