Hi friends! I'm back with another card using mostly dies. Isn't this monkey the cutest??
For the monkey, I used the dies to cut from colored cardstock. To add dimension I blended tea dye along the edges of her face and spun sugar on the inner part of her ears and cheeks. To assemble I used liquid glue and some washi tape on the back to keep the head and face together. I added a flower on her head to make her even more adorable. For interest I used a white gel pen to add highlights on her nose, flower and hands. I also place Nuvo crystal drops on the center of the flower and glossy accents on her eyes.
For the inked panel I used picked raspberry, abandoned coral and squeezed lemonade distress oxide inks. I adhered the leafy cover die on top of the inked panel using liquid glue. I placed double sided foam tape on the head of the monkey and also her hands to give it some dimension. Finally I stamped a small sentiment on a thought bubble.
I love how this turned out. If you don't like to color then die cutting is a great option, with the perfect elements die cuts can make a great impact on any projects.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
