Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop - July 2017 Release

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh blog hop today. The new stamp sets are full of adorable critters and kids perfect for summer theme cards. You will love it!!

For my card I used the stamp set called Fly Away Friends. There are several air balloons, an airplane and a couple critters. I decided to use the largest air balloon and one of the critters. I colored with copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies. For the background I used distress inks to color the clouds using a makeshift stencil cloud from acetate. Then I heat embossed the sentiment onto a black cardstock. I adhered all images with foam tape. Lastly I added nuvo drops for more dimension.

I hope you enjoy my card. Thanks for stopping by! New stamp sets along with coordinating dies, and sequin mix are now available in the shop. Keep reading for a chance to win a giveaway.

Pretty Pink Posh is giving away 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 7/18/2017. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Keep hopping along to see more inspirations from the DT members and special guests.

ME - Stamp Highlight: Party Animals 4 & 5

Hello and Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm sharing the last two cards I made using the Party Animals stamp set by Mama Elephant. I'm creating 5 different projects using 1 stamp set. You can view my previous post here and here.

Alright let's get started shall we? For this card I wanted to create a beautiful sunset background. I colored my card panel with wilted violet, worn lipstick and fossilized amber distress oxide inks. I love these inks so much and wanted to explore using different color combos. I love how this one turned out. I spritz some glimmer mist for a shimmer finish. Once it was dry I heat embossed the sentiment from Words Defined. I cut the cloud from Landscape trio and adhered it to the panel. All my images were colored with copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies. I then mounted them using foam tape.
For my final card I made this card. I created the background using *gasp distress oxides inks in the colors broken china and cracked pistachio. I used the Congrats All Around stamp set for the sentiment. I used silver glitter cardstock to cut out Congrats then I cut it 3 more times on white cardstock and glued them all together to give it dimension. I added the white scallop frame for more interest.
I hope you enjoyed my projects as I had so much fun playing with this stamp set. Have a wonderful day and I will see you next time! Big hugs!!!

ME - Stamp Highlight: Party Animals 2 & 3

Hello! Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the stamp set Party Animals by Mama Elephant. I will be creating 5 projects using this stamp set. Click here to check out my first project.

For my first card I made a pop card. I die cut a Bristol cardstock using a stitched rectangle die then I blended worn lipstick and fossilized amber distress oxide inks. I splattered some water to create more interest. Once the card panel was dry I heat embossed the sentiment from Birthday Wishes.

For the inside of the card I cut the cloud from Landscape Trio and used it as a stencil to create the cloud background. I colored it using tumbled glass distress ink. I also cut 2 panels for the grass using LF Grassy Hillside border and distressed it with mowed lawn. I attached one of the grass panel and then used my own pop ups to attached the second panel. You can also use the Pop-up Trio from ME. I stamped my images with Memento rich cocoa and colored it with Copic markers then adhered them using Tombow mono glue.

For my second card I created yet another birthday card. The card panel was colored with peacock feathers and cracked pistachio. The sentiment from Number It stamp set was heat embossed in the center of the card. I stamped all images and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies and popped them up on foam tape.

I hope you like it. I will be back to share two more cards showcasing the Party Animals stamp set by Mama Elephant. Hugs!!
