You are loved

Hi friends! It's February which is my birthday month and also Valentine's. Today I have a love theme card to share with you. Let's get started!

I colored many images from the Up with Love stamp set by Mama Elephant. I used my Prismacolor pencils for these two critters. The sweet duck and bunny are my favorite in this set! I wanted to try out a different coloring medium and I always like the results when coloring images with pencils. It does take more patience but I found that practicing on smaller images is a lot less intimidating. I cut them out using their coordinating dies. 

For my background I used MFT Blueberry cardstock cut from Lawn Fawn Snowy backdrop. I used MFT cloud stencil with Lawn Fawn yeti pigment ink. I blended blueprint sketch and black soot distress inks to darken the edges. Then splattered the panel with black soot, gouache, perfect pearls and Gansai watercolors. I backed the panel with Lawn Fawn sparkle cardstock. 

For the sentiments I cut the You Are Loved die from Mama Elephant 3x with Neenah cardstock and inlaid a pink cardstock for the heart. I also white heat embossed Happy Valentine's Day on black cardstock, this sentiment is from the stamp set. I adhered my images around the sentiments using foam tape for dimension.
