Bonjour Happy Birthday!

Hello and Happy Friday everyone! I'm back to share my project using products from Penguin Palace Stamps.
I'm having fun creating box cards and this slimline design is amazing! I used the Cinematic Shadow box dies and it's easy to put together. It's similar to putting together a standard size box card but the only difference is the dies are longer so you'll need to make sure you have more paper to cut from.
For the base I used the dies to cut from white and gray cardstock and patterned paper for the front panels. I inked the inner panel using distress oxide inks. I used tattered rose, kitsch flamingo, and seedless preserves. For interest I flicked some water, Gansai Tambi watercolor in gold and diluted seedless preserves using a small paint brush.
Next I stamped and colored a lot of the images from Enchanting Paris using copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I assembled the box card and placed the images with liquid glue making sure I don't block them from each other. To complete the card I combined the sentiments from the set and cut with a fishtail banner.

I hope you give this new box card design a try. Penguin Palace is having a monthly challenge, check out their blog for more details. Come play along for a chance to win a prize. Happy crafting!!
