Floral Hello - Mama Elephant

Friday, May 19, 2017
Happy Friday! I wanted to share a quick floral card today. I used the Botanic Hello stamp set from Mama Elephant.

For my card panel I cut a white cardstock with the scallop die from the Basic Set creative cuts also from ME. I heat embossed the stamp image onto the panel. Then I watercolor it with Zig clean color brush using soft colors. Once it was dry I used C1 copic marker to go around the edges of the stamp. I adhered the panel onto a dark gray cardstock and to complete my card I added lots of shimmer using Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

Concord & 9th- Lovely Thanks

Thursday, May 18, 2017
Hello there crafty friends! I have this simple no fuss card for you today using the Hello Lovely stamp set from Concord & 9th.

This stamp is huge it covers the entire panel of an A2 card base. I love it because it makes it easy creating a card, you don't need anything else and it's absolutely beautiful. Let's get started!

I heat embossed it with white embossing powder then watercolor it with Zig Cleanbrush. I went with bright colors of blue, red, pink and green. I let it air dry then went back and colored it again using the same colors. I think the results turned out awesome and made it more realistic looking. I also used a light gray Zig Cleanbrush but I didn't like the outcome so once it was dry I went in with my C1 copic marker. Adding this shading made the image pop even more.

PPP - Appreciate you

Hello! I would like to wish all the mom out there a very Happy Mother's Day!!

Today I have this card using the Bold Blooms and Build a Bloom stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. When I first saw this card I wanted to create a flower bouquet and I thought it would be perfect for a Mother's Day card.

First I cut watercolor paper using a stitched rectangle die. Then I blended cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, and salty ocean distress ink. I also splattered some gold watercolor from Gansai Tambi starry colors. I love the combinations of the teal and gold together.

TGF - Waving Hello

Saturday, May 13, 2017

Hello there! I'm sharing this card I made with the Greeting Farm mermaid I colored during the Marker Challenge back in March. I created this card awhile back but only now have the time to write a blog post.

For my card panel I used the dainty scallop cover up from MFT stamps. I colored it with dusty concord, wilted violet, peacock feathers, salty ocean, and mermaid lagoon distress inks. I splashed some water and sprayed it with glimmer mists spray then let it air dry. Once my panel was dry I used my ATG to adhere the cover up in place, I also used Tombow liquid glue for the scallops that were popping out of place.

PPP - Friend like you

Friday, May 12, 2017

Hello there! I'm back with another Pretty Pink Posh project. The inspiration behind this card was the sentiment from the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set "I thank my lucky stars for a friend like you." I used the adorable bear and butterflies from Woodland Critters. I knew I was going to make a night scene so here's what my card look like.

PPP - Thinking of you

Hello everyone! I have a Pretty Pink Posh project to share using the Bee Friends stamp set.

I stamped the bees and colored with copic markers then cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped the flowers on my card panel and did a little bit of masking. I blended cracked pistachio and salty ocean for the background. My sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder. I then positioned my bees using foam tape for dimension. Lastly I added some sparkles using clear sequins and icicle stickles on the bee's wings.

N&T - Welcoming Committee

Wednesday, May 10, 2017
Hello there! Today I have 3 cards to share with you using the Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee by Neat and Tangled. Let's get started!

Is it just me or is everyone having a baby? I either know a woman who just gave birth or just found out she's pregnant. So with all the baby news I decided to use this stamp set that I've had for awhile. I'm so glad I got it because it was so easy to make cards with them.

For my first card I created a shaker card. I also used a lot of Pretty Pink Posh products to create this sweet scene.  Supplies will be listed at the end of this post! Be sure to check it out.

PPP - When you're around

Tuesday, May 2, 2017
Hello there! Today I'm sharing another Pretty Pink Posh project. For my card I used the oh so cute bear from the Woodland Critters stamp set.

My card panel background is colored with distress ink: cracked pistachio, lucky clover, faded jeans, and broken china. I also die cut a white cardstock using a stitched rectangle then die cut again using Stitched Notes dies which turned it into a frame. I didn't intend to make this into a shaker card but when I saw the sequin mix I thought it complemented my background very well.
To make the shaker, I adhered acetate behind the frame then placed double sided foam tape. I used the new sequins mix called Spring Meadow which has blue and green pastel colors, very pretty and subtle. I heat embossed the sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings using silver embossing powder. I love this stamp set, there are so many sweet sentiments and the font is beautiful. The images are adhered onto my card panel so they're behind the acetate. When I create shaker cards I add the sequins right onto my card panel then I line up the acetate panel. I find this way much easier and less messy!

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Hugs!!

Hello there! I'm excited to share with you my projects for the Pretty Pink Posh May release. I love this release, it's soo amazing and I'm sure you will agree! Let's get started on my first card, shall we?

For this card I used the Bold Blooms and Happy Owls stamp sets. I think they go so well together. I wanted to create a wedding card so this is what I came up with. For my card panel I splattered some gold watercolor for interest. Then die cut the center using the window frame die and blended distress ink onto the negative panel.

I used copic markers to color my images then die cut them using the coordinating dies. The owls were stamped using dye ink from MFT stamps. I wanted to create a floral arch and make the focal point to be the two lovely owls. I used the window frame die as a guide to place the roses and leaves adhering my images with foam tape for dimension. For my sentiment I stamped it with rich cocoa ink, die cut then popped it up with fun foam. I also added wink of stella onto  the roses.

That completes my card for today. I hope you like it! I will be back tomorrow with another project using the new products from Pretty Pink Posh. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!!
