CB - Dad, You're Super!

Sunday, June 19, 2016
Hi everyone! This is the second Father's day card I made for my son to give to my husband. I made a superhero theme with bright colors, completely opposite from the card I made for my daughter.
I'm loving Clearly Besotted stamps. They're coming out with adorable cute images and I can't resist their new release each month. This one is no exception. I used the Caped Cuties using two of the stamps, there are seven super heroes altogether. I colored them with my Copic markers.

The skyline and road die cuts are from Mama Elephant. I used several distress inks for the sky blend, I didn't write them down but what I do remember are squeezed lemonade, ripe persimmon, worn lipstick and festive berries. This was my first time using this color combo and I love how it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're inspired. Have a great week everyone!

ME - Beary best

Hello crafty friends! Today we are celebrating Happy Father's Day. I made a couple cards for my kids to give to my husband. First up is this sweet card from my daughter. I went with soft and precious scene where papa bear is holding baby bear's hand. Awww!

All products used are from Mama Elephant. I colored the images with Copic markers and used coordinating dies for the cherry blossom. I cut the bear using my scissors.
The background was colored with distress inks: twisted citron, mowed lawn, antique linen, and broken china. The sentiment was heat embossed.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you're having a great day!

MFT - Hello Beautiful!

Hello again! Welcome back! Here is my second card for today. I made this floral shaker card with lots and lots and lots of shimmer! :)
All products used are from My Favorite Things. I went with a fresh theme with the soft colors using green, yellow and orange. The stamp images were colored with Copic markers and die cut using my Scan n Cut. I used distress ink for the background: twisted citron, mowed lawn, and antique linen. I cut the hello sentiment from Label Maker Love. I also used the beautiful die cut from glitter cardstock, cut it three times and adhered on top each other for dimension.

The card panel was cut using MFT's new cover up dienamics Striped Sentiment. I cut it twice one with white card stock and one with white fun foam. I adhered a clear acetate sheet between the foam and card panel. I place Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins onto each stripe. Lastly I added shimmer on the flowers using Spectrum Noir clear sparkle and that completes this card. Thanks for stopping by!

N&T - Carnival Birthday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Sorry I haven't been able to blog all week since I've been busy at work and taking care of things before I go on a trip this week which means I will hardly blog again in the next couple of weeks. Hahaha! I guess this blogging thing was tougher than I thought but it's ok I'll keep on doing my thing! So with that here is my first card. Just on a side note I have posted these on my Instagram but I made this blog to share what I used and how I made it. It might not be the most helpful instructions but you'll get it! :) Please feel free to email or comment if you have any questions.

I used one of the newest stamp from Neat and Tangled called Big Top Birthday. I thought it was so fun and different from all the stamps I have. I colored the images with Copic markers and used my Scan n Cut to cut them.
I went with a black, white and red theme. I used a dotted stencil for the background and used distress ink. I then adhered the card panel to a black cardstock.
I used glossy accents on the donut balloon, cake, and the clown's nose.
That's it for this card! Thanks for stopping by!

MFT - Hello I'm still here!

Monday, June 13, 2016
Hello I'm back! Today I'm sharing two things I created this past few days. Lately I have been feeling un-inspired due to being exhausted from work. I usually have a break in between my two jobs but this time I didn't and I was burned out. I have two little ones (2 and 5 yrs old) so my life can get pretty hectic. I'm slowly getting back in my craft room since I got new goodies from various company who had their monthly release this month. A couple days ago I shared this card on my Instagram using older stamps from MFT.
The cat is me saying hello and that I'm still here after a break from posting. :) I have been wanting to use the classic window die from MFT for such a long time and I finally did! I admit I love everything that MFT carries. I bought from them when I first started card making and now they are coming out with so many adorable stamps and amazing dies. They have really amazing stuff!

With this card I distressed the card panel with bright happy colors. I die cut the window from MFT cardstock. All the images were colored with copic markers and die cut using coordinating dies. I hope you like it. Have a great day!

MFT - Hog heaven tags

Hello again! My second post for today are these cute tags using the new MFT Birdie Brown Hog Heaven. At first I only colored three of the pigs but after creating the tags I decided I wanted to make more so I die cut and colored the rest of the pigs from the stamp set.
Two of the tags are shakers, the second and fourth from the left. The panels were colored with distressed ink, the stamps were colored using copic markers.

I also added stickles on the cupcake and the pigs wing which was hard to capture in photo. I hope you enjoyed what I shared today and get inspired. Till next time! Hugs!

MFT- Stuck with me

Tuesday, June 7, 2016
Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well. It was a busy and exhausting weekend for me so I'm trying to get back into my normal routine. I would like to share with you another MFT Sketch challenge.

This is not my usual card but I wanted to use my Zig clean color brush and the Sweet Succulents stamp set that I got awhile ago. I'm not that great with watercoloring so I wanted to challenge myself. For me watercoloring is relaxing and it also helped me clear my mind. I used the stencil for the background and did some distress ink. I die cut the oval out of white cardstock. I stamped and watercolored a couple cacti from the Sweet Succulents set.  I used double sided foam tape for dimension and adhered the stamps onto my oval cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That completes my card for today. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love Cynthia - Love you to the moon and back!

Friday, June 3, 2016
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have this sweet card using stamps from Love Cynthia. She has an online shop that carries all sorts of cute stuff such as accessories for planner, washi tapes, stickers and much more. She is from France so I did have to pay for international shipping which was quite a lot but it's ok because to me it was worth it. Anything to support small shops and they're very cute so why not! Anyway here is the card I made.
Aren't they just the cutest couple? I stamp the image then use my Scan N Cut to cut it. These stamps don't have coordinating dies which was fine by me but you would need to fussy cut them with scissors. I colored them with Copic markers and used white gel pen to add polka dots to the girls dress. For the sentiment I die cut using Lawn Fawn Stitched Labels. I stamp the sentiment with clear versamark ink on black cardstock then heat embossed it.
For the background I die cut using the Heart Lattice background by Poppy Stamps. I cut it twice one on white cardstock and the other on pink card stock. I took the negative from the pink card stock and inlayed them with the white cardstock.
I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

CB: Fruity Mice Shaker Tags

Wednesday, June 1, 2016

Hello crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day today. I would like to share with you these shaker tags. Aren't these little mice the cutest thing??

I stamped and colored  these fruit mice from Clearly Besotted May release called Feeling Fruity. All images were colored using Copic markers. I cut them using my Brother Scan N Cut. I have had this machine for several months now and it has been a life changer. I don't buy the coordinating dies unless I have to. It has really saved me a lot of money and it beats having to fussy cut my stamps. If you are on the fence about getting it, take it from me you won't be disappointed.
For the tag I die cut using the tags from Mama Elephant Madison Avenue. I used various distress ink to color the inside of the tag. I placed the clear acetate sheet on the inside of the window and put foam tape along the circle. I then used sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and adhered both tags together. I used my We R Memory Keeper cropadile to punch a hole in the center of the tag. I looped the twine through the hole using Lawn Fawn trimmings.

I hope you like these tags as much as I do! They were so fun to make and I love these critters so much. Have a wonderful day!!
