Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop - July 2017 Release

Friday, July 14, 2017
Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh blog hop today. The new stamp sets are full of adorable critters and kids perfect for summer theme cards. You will love it!!

For my card I used the stamp set called Fly Away Friends. There are several air balloons, an airplane and a couple critters. I decided to use the largest air balloon and one of the critters. I colored with copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies. For the background I used distress inks to color the clouds using a makeshift stencil cloud from acetate. Then I heat embossed the sentiment onto a black cardstock. I adhered all images with foam tape. Lastly I added nuvo drops for more dimension.

Stamp Highlight Mama Elephant : Party Animals 4 & 5

Friday, June 23, 2017
Hello and Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm sharing the last two cards I made using the Party Animals stamp set by Mama Elephant. I'm creating 5 different projects using 1 stamp set. You can view my previous post here and here.

Alright let's get started shall we? For this card I wanted to create a beautiful sunset background. I colored my card panel with wilted violet, worn lipstick and fossilized amber distress oxide inks. I love these inks so much and wanted to explore using different color combos. I love how this one turned out. I spritz some glimmer mist for a shimmer finish. Once it was dry I heat embossed the sentiment from Words Defined. I cut the cloud from Landscape trio and adhered it to the panel. All my images were colored with copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies. I then mounted them using foam tape.

Hello! Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the stamp set Party Animals by Mama Elephant. I will be creating 5 projects using this stamp set. Click here to check out my first project.

For my first card I made a pop card. I die cut a Bristol cardstock using a stitched rectangle die then I blended worn lipstick and fossilized amber distress oxide inks. I splattered some water to create more interest. Once the card panel was dry I heat embossed the sentiment from Birthday Wishes.

Stamp Highlight Mama Elephant: Party Animals 1

Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Hello there! Welcome back to my blog. I wanted to do something different so I decided to create 5 projects using one stamp set. I thought this would be fun and challenge me to make more projects out of one stamp. For this series I chose the Party Animals from Mama Elephant. Let's get started shall we?

I cut a Bristol Smooth cardstock using the classic stripe creative cuts. I colored it using distress inks: wilted violet, broken china, mustard seed, and worn lipstick.

Floral Hello - Mama Elephant

Friday, May 19, 2017
Happy Friday! I wanted to share a quick floral card today. I used the Botanic Hello stamp set from Mama Elephant.

For my card panel I cut a white cardstock with the scallop die from the Basic Set creative cuts also from ME. I heat embossed the stamp image onto the panel. Then I watercolor it with Zig clean color brush using soft colors. Once it was dry I used C1 copic marker to go around the edges of the stamp. I adhered the panel onto a dark gray cardstock and to complete my card I added lots of shimmer using Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

Concord & 9th- Lovely Thanks

Thursday, May 18, 2017
Hello there crafty friends! I have this simple no fuss card for you today using the Hello Lovely stamp set from Concord & 9th.

This stamp is huge it covers the entire panel of an A2 card base. I love it because it makes it easy creating a card, you don't need anything else and it's absolutely beautiful. Let's get started!

I heat embossed it with white embossing powder then watercolor it with Zig Cleanbrush. I went with bright colors of blue, red, pink and green. I let it air dry then went back and colored it again using the same colors. I think the results turned out awesome and made it more realistic looking. I also used a light gray Zig Cleanbrush but I didn't like the outcome so once it was dry I went in with my C1 copic marker. Adding this shading made the image pop even more.

PPP - Appreciate you

Hello! I would like to wish all the mom out there a very Happy Mother's Day!!

Today I have this card using the Bold Blooms and Build a Bloom stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. When I first saw this card I wanted to create a flower bouquet and I thought it would be perfect for a Mother's Day card.

First I cut watercolor paper using a stitched rectangle die. Then I blended cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, and salty ocean distress ink. I also splattered some gold watercolor from Gansai Tambi starry colors. I love the combinations of the teal and gold together.

TGF - Waving Hello

Saturday, May 13, 2017

Hello there! I'm sharing this card I made with the Greeting Farm mermaid I colored during the Marker Challenge back in March. I created this card awhile back but only now have the time to write a blog post.

For my card panel I used the dainty scallop cover up from MFT stamps. I colored it with dusty concord, wilted violet, peacock feathers, salty ocean, and mermaid lagoon distress inks. I splashed some water and sprayed it with glimmer mists spray then let it air dry. Once my panel was dry I used my ATG to adhere the cover up in place, I also used Tombow liquid glue for the scallops that were popping out of place.

PPP - Friend like you

Friday, May 12, 2017

Hello there! I'm back with another Pretty Pink Posh project. The inspiration behind this card was the sentiment from the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set "I thank my lucky stars for a friend like you." I used the adorable bear and butterflies from Woodland Critters. I knew I was going to make a night scene so here's what my card look like.

PPP - Thinking of you

Hello everyone! I have a Pretty Pink Posh project to share using the Bee Friends stamp set.

I stamped the bees and colored with copic markers then cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped the flowers on my card panel and did a little bit of masking. I blended cracked pistachio and salty ocean for the background. My sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder. I then positioned my bees using foam tape for dimension. Lastly I added some sparkles using clear sequins and icicle stickles on the bee's wings.

N&T - Welcoming Committee

Wednesday, May 10, 2017
Hello there! Today I have 3 cards to share with you using the Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee by Neat and Tangled. Let's get started!

Is it just me or is everyone having a baby? I either know a woman who just gave birth or just found out she's pregnant. So with all the baby news I decided to use this stamp set that I've had for awhile. I'm so glad I got it because it was so easy to make cards with them.

For my first card I created a shaker card. I also used a lot of Pretty Pink Posh products to create this sweet scene.  Supplies will be listed at the end of this post! Be sure to check it out.

PPP - When you're around

Tuesday, May 2, 2017
Hello there! Today I'm sharing another Pretty Pink Posh project. For my card I used the oh so cute bear from the Woodland Critters stamp set.

My card panel background is colored with distress ink: cracked pistachio, lucky clover, faded jeans, and broken china. I also die cut a white cardstock using a stitched rectangle then die cut again using Stitched Notes dies which turned it into a frame. I didn't intend to make this into a shaker card but when I saw the sequin mix I thought it complemented my background very well.
To make the shaker, I adhered acetate behind the frame then placed double sided foam tape. I used the new sequins mix called Spring Meadow which has blue and green pastel colors, very pretty and subtle. I heat embossed the sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings using silver embossing powder. I love this stamp set, there are so many sweet sentiments and the font is beautiful. The images are adhered onto my card panel so they're behind the acetate. When I create shaker cards I add the sequins right onto my card panel then I line up the acetate panel. I find this way much easier and less messy!

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Hugs!!

PPP - Congrats

Hello there! I'm excited to share with you my projects for the Pretty Pink Posh May release. I love this release, it's soo amazing and I'm sure you will agree! Let's get started on my first card, shall we?

For this card I used the Bold Blooms and Happy Owls stamp sets. I think they go so well together. I wanted to create a wedding card so this is what I came up with. For my card panel I splattered some gold watercolor for interest. Then die cut the center using the window frame die and blended distress ink onto the negative panel.

I used copic markers to color my images then die cut them using the coordinating dies. The owls were stamped using dye ink from MFT stamps. I wanted to create a floral arch and make the focal point to be the two lovely owls. I used the window frame die as a guide to place the roses and leaves adhering my images with foam tape for dimension. For my sentiment I stamped it with rich cocoa ink, die cut then popped it up with fun foam. I also added wink of stella onto  the roses.

That completes my card for today. I hope you like it! I will be back tomorrow with another project using the new products from Pretty Pink Posh. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!!

MFT - Farm Friends

Monday, April 24, 2017

Happy Monday everyone! I have another card to share with you using MFT Farm Friends.

I die cut white watercolor paper using a stitched rectangle and lightly distress it with salty ocean and peacock feathers. I then die cut another watercolor paper with snow drifts dienamics and distressed it with mowed lawn and vintage photo. I only used the bottom three slopes to ground my images. I used the snow drifts  positives to line up the slopes then remove them once I adhered the ones I needed.

I had so much fun playing with this stamp set. The little mouse is adorable and I couldn't help but add one more to the wagon. I hope you enjoy today's card. See you tomorrow!

MFT - Howdy from the Herd

Sunday, April 23, 2017

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're having a great weekend. I'm back crafting again and I wanted to share this card with you. I colored these cute farm animals from My Favorite Things Farm Friends stamp set.

For my card panel I die cut a white cardstock from single stitched rounded rectangle frame dienamics. I distressed the negative with distress inks. Since the rectangle frame is smaller than my card base I adhered it on pattered paper. I think it adds more interest (do you agree?). Besides I need to use up my pattern papers that I have been hoarding. Raise your hand if you're a hoarder like me. LOL!

As with all my cards I like to add foam tapes behind my images for dimension.
I hope you like today's card. Thanks for coming back to my blog. Hugs!

MFT Single Stitched Rounded Rectangle Frame Dienamics

MFT - Tickled Pink

Saturday, February 11, 2017

Hello! I have another love theme card for you today using these adorable piggies. I did a purple and pink sky blend using distress inks. I always try different color combination and most of the time I like it and this one I really love. My inspiration comes from looking up in the sky. Instead of seeing purple or pink colors I imagine they're all the colors of Tim Holtz distress inks. I hope I'm not the only crafter that thinks like this. LOL! =)
